Four Points Federal Credit Union protects the nonpublic personal and financial information of members collected and maintained by the credit union.
Four Points collects only the personal and financial information of members that is necessary to conduct business and to provide services requested by members.
The credit union maintains security control procedures and practices that meet legal and regulatory requirements to protect member information in files and computer systems. Electronic security techniques are used to protect against unauthorized access to member records and accounts and to protect member confidentiality as provided in the Member Information Security policy.
Members are allowed to review their personal and financial information and request changes to ensure that credit union records are complete and accurate.
The credit union shares information with third parties only to assist the credit union in providing services to members. Third parties must treat this information with utmost confidentiality.
The credit union may provide information as permitted or required by law for legal and validated requests from government agencies and law enforcement authorities, standard reporting as required by various laws and regulations, and for purposes of consumer credit reporting.
Privacy notices, as shown in the addendum to this policy, are provided to new members at the time they join and to all members annually.
The credit union does not sell, give or trade information about members to any third party beyond the sharing of information required to conduct credit union business and to provide services requested by members as described in this policy.
